Ultrasonic components
With its experience and know-how of ultrasonci processes, since 1993 SONIMAT has been making, developing and inspecting ultrasonic tools and components and so our technology is proprietary. Discover our full range of ultrasonic sonotrode, converter, and boosters as well as our ultrasonic generator.
SONIMAT technicians are here to listen to you, advise you and help you integrate our ultrasonic components into your machines!

The function of the piezoelectric converter (or transducer) is to transform the electrical frequency into mechanical vibrations of the same frequency. Because the choice of its components determines the reliability of the process, SONIMAT selects only the best products to make it.
Ultrasonic welding or cutting is the result of contact between the sonotrode and your product. It is a key element of your process.
For optimum quality and performance, SONIMAT produces and tests 100% of our ultrasonic sonotrodes and guillotines at the Lencloître premises in Vienne (86, France). As the last element in the acoustic chain, the sonotrode transmits ultrasound energy to the part to be welded or cut.
The sonotrodes are of different shapes and correspond to the part to be produced. Tailor-made, their shape, their material, and their vibration frequency are studied beforehand to adapt to the application. With you, we study the sonotrodes best suited to your needs if our standard products do not fulfil your requirements.
The specific toolings for anvils or positioning are tools used as a base for positioning and holding the workpiece while ensuring the ultrasound feedback of the sonotrode. Similar to the sonotrodes, they can have various forms and so, once again, mass production is not possible for these tools. They are manufactured according to the study carried out on the samples supplied by our customers in order to perfectly adapt to their specific application. Developed in parallel with the sonotrodes, they are an integral part of the application.
The amplitude booster (modifier) is used to increase or reduce the amplitude produced by the converter. It is essential for certain applications.
