The assembly line is equipped with 3 infrared welding machines, a curling machine and a rivet setting robot. The components of the package are guided along the line by an automated conveyor belt, and the components are inserted into the welding machines using collaborative robots.
This is a pilot production line implemented at the Nantes research centre. It offers a number of advantages to support the development of new products and manufacturing processes. The SONIMAT HPW welding machine process, infrared or hot plate technology, can be easily replaced according to production needs.
