Recycling composite materials
Recycling composite materials
Composite materials are used in many high-tech sectors such as energy, aerospace, defence as well as sports and leisure. Indeed, they have great mechanical properties, such as solidity, strength and lightness, characteristics sought after by these sectors.
However, composite materials generate a large amount of waste during manufacturing (scrap material, consumables, etc.) as well as during the dismantling/scrapping of parts.
So the question of recycling these heterogeneous and complex materials arises, and there are solutions to give them a second life.
